West End Success for the talented MTA student, Natalya

Natalya has loved all things musical, since primary school, when the very talented Nathen Cline encouraged her to do her first solo in Eastbourne's Festival, from there her passion has grown, and so has her dedication to anything to do with Theatrical performance.

Now a pupil at Moira House, she studies music ,dance, and drama under the wonderful Director of music and Theatre Arts ,Mr R. Cousins. She also attends LAMDA, singing tuition with Nicole Young and a drama group "My Theatre Academy" (MTA) on a Saturday morning at The Birley Centre. This strong foundation in the arts gave her the confidence to attended an open audition, in central London, an audition her Grandmother spotted advertised on Facebook.

Over 3,000 children were seen, but four auditions later, she was told she had been selected to join one of the cast teams, performing The Secret Garden in London's West End. The show was a huge success, received rave reviews and ran for the whole summer season at The Ambasador Theatre.

Just as Natalya's performances were drawing to a close, she received further news and success when she was selected as one of only 30 performers from the rolling cast of 300 in The Secret Garden, to perform alongside a host of stars, including Anthon Stephans from X Factor and Jaymi Hensley from the band Union J, in a very mature, and hard hitting performance of Elegies.

"I had the time of my life " Natalya said, "I would strongly recommend anyone pursue their dreams. I am fortunate that my school is very dedicated to the performing arts, and we often get great opportunities to work with West End performers".
